Fusible plugs are a boiler safety fitting, selected against the boiler's working pressure and the code it is built to. They are a consumable with a service life, not a fit-and-forget component.

The Leader range here is supplied in bronze for water and low-pressure steam, forged brass on small-bore service lines and forged carbon steel A105 on small-bore high-pressure lines. The medium chooses the material. Cost only breaks a tie between two bodies that both suit the duty, and a body that fails on temperature is not cheaper for having cost less.

The range covers 15–25 mm and 32–50 mm. That span is not one design scaled up — the small end is screwed copper alloy, the large end is flanged and cast, and the break between them is where weight and handling start to matter.

Where an inspection certificate or an IBR form is required, say so with the enquiry — it is arranged with the manufacturer at order stage and cannot be added to a valve already despatched.

To quote fusible plugs properly we need the boiler's working pressure and the code it is built to in addition to sizes and quantities. Everything else on the enquiry can be inferred; that cannot.
