About the Leader water level gauges range

Every Leader water level gauge we supply is listed on this page: 6 families spanning 15 mm to 20 mm, in 2 body materials.

Two water level gauge sets at the same bore can differ in how the gauge cocks are packed, and that difference is a compliance question as much as a price one on some installations. Confirming the packing material against the boiler's own certification is worth doing before ordering on bore alone.

The Leader range here is supplied in bronze for water and low-pressure steam and carbon steel WCB for steam and higher pressures. What the line carries, and how hot it runs, decide the body. Those two facts narrow the choice before bore, class or budget are considered at all.

End connections run to Flanged and Screwed BSP (parallel). The connection has to be settled against the mating pipework before a size is ordered — a flanged valve and a screwed one are not interchangeable on an installed line.

This range is manufactured to BS 10 Table H and BS 10 Table J. Where a tender names a standard, quoting it back on the enquiry is what stops an approved substitution being queried later.

Works test certificates and material certificates can be supplied with the consignment where the standard calls for them, but they have to be asked for at the time of order rather than afterwards.

When you send an enquiry for water level gauges, include the drum's working pressure and temperature alongside the sizes and quantities. It is the detail that most often has to be chased before a quotation can be priced, and supplying it up front saves a round trip.
