About the Sant water level gauges range
This is the full Sant water level gauge range we are authorised to supply — 7 families, 10 mm to 20 mm, across 3 body materials.
Left hand and right hand water level gauge sets are not a cosmetic choice — the steam and water arms have to land on the correct side of the drum's own mounting bosses, and ordering the wrong hand means a set that cannot actually be fitted, not merely one that looks reversed.
The Sant range here is supplied in bronze for water and low-pressure steam, forged brass on small-bore service lines and carbon steel WCB for steam and higher pressures. Material is decided by the medium and the temperature before it is decided by price: a body that suits cold water will not necessarily suit the same line carrying steam.
The range is supplied with Flanged and Screwed BSP (parallel) ends. Which one is right is a question about the line, not about the valve, and it is the detail most often left off an enquiry.
Test certificates are available against the order where the product carries them. It is worth confirming the requirement before the order is placed rather than at delivery.
