Sant C.S. Sleeve packed water level gauge, available 20 mm. Water level gauges give a direct visual reading of boiler water level. They are a statutory fitting on steam boilers and are read continuously during operation, so the packing and cocks matter as much as the glass. A cast carbon steel body to ASTM A216 WCB handles the temperatures and pressures of steam and hot oil, where bronze or iron would not be rated. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
