About the Veeson globe valves range
This is the full Veeson globe valve range we are authorised to supply — 5 families, 15 mm to 150 mm, across 2 body materials.
Within a globe range the choice is rarely the pattern and almost always the detail — bonnet, stem and seat. Throttling duty wears the trim, so the ability to strip and reseat a valve without cutting it out of the line is worth more than the difference in first cost.
The Veeson range here is supplied in cast iron to IS 210 for larger bores on water duty and carbon steel WCB for steam and higher pressures. What the line carries, and how hot it runs, decide the body. Those two facts narrow the choice before bore, class or budget are considered at all.
Sizes span 15–25 mm, 32–50 mm, 65–100 mm and 125–150 mm. Across that range the construction changes more than once, so a size at the top of the range and one at the bottom are related products rather than the same product in two sizes.
End connections run to Flanged and Screwed BSP (parallel). The connection has to be settled against the mating pipework before a size is ordered — a flanged valve and a screwed one are not interchangeable on an installed line.
Where an inspection certificate or an IBR form is required, say so with the enquiry — it is arranged with the manufacturer at order stage and cannot be added to a valve already despatched.
Send the medium and the working temperature, which decide bonnet and trim with the schedule when you enquire about globe valves. Sizes and quantities alone leave the one question open that decides which valve is actually correct.
