About the Veeson ball valves range

In a ball valve range, the questions that decide the order are bore and body. Full bore keeps the line's characteristic and lets a pig or a brush pass; reduced bore saves money where the pressure drop is acceptable. Two-piece and three-piece bodies differ in whether the valve can be serviced without breaking the line.
The Veeson range here is supplied in cast iron to IS 210 for larger bores on water duty. What the line carries, and how hot it runs, decide the body. Those two facts narrow the choice before bore, class or budget are considered at all.
Bores available are 15–25 mm, 32–50 mm, 65–100 mm and 125–200 mm. Above roughly 50 mm the pattern shifts to flanged cast bodies, and flange drilling, weight and lifting become part of the order rather than an afterthought.
The range is supplied with Screwed BSP (parallel) and Flanged ends. Which one is right is a question about the line, not about the valve, and it is the detail most often left off an enquiry.
The applicable standards here are IS 9890. A specification that names one is asking for a specific construction, not a general quality level.
Test certificates are available against the order where the product carries them. It is worth confirming the requirement before the order is placed rather than at delivery.
