About the DRP water level gauges range

We hold the DRP agency directly. The DRP water level gauge range runs to 4 families, 8 mm to 20 mm, in 1 body material.

Water level gauges are boiler mountings, and what they are made to matters more than what they cost. The gauge glass, the protector and the isolating cocks are a set, and the pressure and temperature of the drum decides which construction is permitted.

The DRP range here is supplied in bronze for water and low-pressure steam. The medium chooses the material. Cost only breaks a tie between two bodies that both suit the duty, and a body that fails on temperature is not cheaper for having cost less.

The range covers 8–20 mm. That span is not one design scaled up — the small end is screwed copper alloy, the large end is flanged and cast, and the break between them is where weight and handling start to matter.

Ends available are Screwed BSP (parallel) and Flanged. This is worth confirming against the pipework drawing rather than assumed: changing a valve's end connection after delivery means changing the pipework.

Where an inspection certificate or an IBR form is required, say so with the enquiry — it is arranged with the manufacturer at order stage and cannot be added to a valve already despatched.
