Reducing stations are sized on flow, and the commonest fault is a valve chosen to match the pipe. A valve that is generous for the duty will hunt at low demand, which is felt as noise in the building long before it is measured.

The range covers 15–25 mm, 32–50 mm, 65–100 mm and 125–200 mm. That span is not one design scaled up — the small end is screwed copper alloy, the large end is flanged and cast, and the break between them is where weight and handling start to matter.

The range is rated PN 16 and PN 25. Class is chosen against the duty, including any surge the line sees, rather than against the nominal system pressure alone.

Works test certificates and material certificates can be supplied with the consignment where the standard calls for them, but they have to be asked for at the time of order rather than afterwards.

When you send an enquiry for pressure reducing valves, include the inlet and outlet pressures and the flow range, including the lowest flow alongside the sizes and quantities. It is the detail that most often has to be chased before a quotation can be priced, and supplying it up front saves a round trip.
