Description
This cast Iron Butterfly Valve (CF-8/SS-304 Disc, Gear Operated, PN 16) from Castle covers 200 mm to 600 mm at PN 16. Compact and quick to operate. Face-to-face length is short, which matters where a valve has to fit an existing pipe run. Gear operation keeps the effort manageable at the larger bores, where a lever would need more force than one person can apply. Grey cast iron to IS 210 keeps the cost sensible in the larger sizes, provided the duty is steady rather than shock-loaded. The wafer body clamps between two pipe flanges, keeping face-to-face length and weight to a minimum. Size and pricing for each option appear in the table above.
