Description
Covering 200 mm to 600 mm at PN 10, this is Castle’s cast Iron Butterfly Valve (CF-8/SS-304 Disc, Gear Operated, PN 10). The disc stays in the flow path when open, which costs a little pressure drop but keeps the valve short, light and cheap to support. Gear operation keeps the effort manageable at the larger bores, where a lever would need more force than one person can apply. Grey cast iron to IS 210 keeps the cost sensible in the larger sizes, provided the duty is steady rather than shock-loaded. A wafer body adds almost nothing to the length of the pipe run. Every size in the range is listed above with its price.
