This is the full Zoloto globe valve range we are authorised to supply — 18 families, 8 mm to 200 mm, across 2 body materials.

Cast iron globe valves cover water and low-pressure steam; once the class moves to PN-40 or the medium is superheated steam, the range steps up to cast steel, and that step is a safety margin, not an upsell — cast iron is not rated for the same duty.

The Zoloto range here is supplied in gunmetal to IS 318 LTB-2 for potable and general water service and cast iron to IS 210 for larger bores on water duty. The medium chooses the material. Cost only breaks a tie between two bodies that both suit the duty, and a body that fails on temperature is not cheaper for having cost less.

Bores available are 8–25 mm, 32–50 mm, 65–100 mm and 125–200 mm. Above roughly 50 mm the pattern shifts to flanged cast bodies, and flange drilling, weight and lifting become part of the order rather than an afterthought.

Ends available are Flanged and Screwed BSP (parallel). This is worth confirming against the pipework drawing rather than assumed: changing a valve's end connection after delivery means changing the pipework.

Test certificates are available against the order where the product carries them. It is worth confirming the requirement before the order is placed rather than at delivery.

An enquiry for globe valves is quickest to price when it states the medium and the working temperature, which decide bonnet and trim as well as the sizes and quantities. Without it we have to come back and ask, which adds a day to the quotation for no reason.
