Description
This all Iron Gate Valve (Bolted Bonnet, Non-Rising Stem, Class 125) from Leader covers 40 mm to 300 mm at Class 125. Intended for full-open or full-shut duty. Holding a wedge part-open to throttle will chatter and wear the seat faces. The non-rising stem keeps the overall height fixed, which matters in a congested pipe rack or a valve pit where there is no room for a stem to travel. Grey cast iron to IS 210 keeps the cost sensible in the larger sizes, provided the duty is steady rather than shock-loaded. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
