Leader parallel Slide Blow Off Valve (Cast Steel, Class 300, Flanged ASME), available 25 mm to 65 mm at Class 300. The straight-through bore means an open gate valve behaves much like a length of pipe. A cast carbon steel body to ASTM A216 WCB handles the temperatures and pressures of steam and hot oil, where bronze or iron would not be rated. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
