Description
Covering 50 mm to 300 mm, this is Veeson’s cast Iron Sluice Valve, Non-Rising Forged Brass Spindle (PN-16). The standard isolation valve on larger water lines. The wedge seats between two body faces, giving tight shut-off on clean and lightly contaminated water at pipeline pressures. The non-rising stem keeps the overall height fixed, which matters in a congested pipe rack or a valve pit where there is no room for a stem to travel. Grey cast iron to IS 210 keeps the cost sensible in the larger sizes, provided the duty is steady rather than shock-loaded. Every size in the range is listed above with its catalogue number and price.
