Covering 50 mm to 300 mm at PN 16, this is Sant’s C.I. Wedge Gate Sluice Valve. The standard isolation valve on larger water lines. The wedge seats between two body faces, giving tight shut-off on clean and lightly contaminated water at pipeline pressures. Grey cast iron to IS 210 keeps the cost sensible in the larger sizes, provided the duty is steady rather than shock-loaded. Flanged connections allow the valve to come out for overhaul with the pipework left in place. Standard on pumping mains, reservoir outlets and distribution network isolation.
