Description
Sant S.S. Wafer Disc Check Valve, available 15 mm to 50 mm at PN 40. Check valves stop reverse flow without any external operation — line pressure alone opens and closes them. On a pump discharge they prevent backspin and the water hammer that follows an abrupt stop. Flanged connections allow the valve to come out for overhaul with the pipework left in place. Normally fitted on pump discharges and at the point a branch joins a common header. The table above gives the price for each size in the range.
