Covering 50 mm to 300 mm at PN 25, this is Sant’s dual Plate Wafer Check Valve. Fitted to prevent flow reversing when a pump stops or a line depressurises. Orientation matters: a swing pattern needs the correct attitude to seat properly, so confirm the intended mounting before ordering. An SG iron body to IS 1865 tolerates ground movement and pressure surge in ways grey cast iron does not. Flanged connections allow the valve to come out for overhaul with the pipework left in place.
