Covering 15 mm to 50 mm, this is Sant’s brass Universal Check Valve. Fitted to prevent flow reversing when a pump stops or a line depressurises. Orientation matters: a swing pattern needs the correct attitude to seat properly, so confirm the intended mounting before ordering. A forged brass body to IS 319 — dense, compact and economical in the smaller sizes. Normally fitted on pump discharges and at the point a branch joins a common header.
