Description
Covering 40 mm to 300 mm at PN 20, this is Sant’s butterfly Valve. The disc stays in the flow path when open, which costs a little pressure drop but keeps the valve short, light and cheap to support. Grey cast iron to IS 210 keeps the cost sensible in the larger sizes, provided the duty is steady rather than shock-loaded. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
