Leader y-Type Strainer (Forged Brass, PN 20), available 15 mm to 50 mm at PN 20. Strainers protect what sits downstream. A mesh screen catches scale, weld spatter and pipe debris before it reaches a pump impeller, a meter register or a control valve seat, and the screen lifts out for cleaning without breaking the line. Forged brass keeps cost and weight down at small bores, where a cast body’s strength is not required. Parallel BSP threads — the usual small-bore connection, and quick to replace in service.
