Description

Covering 15 mm to 50 mm, this is Leader’s y-Type Strainer (Gunmetal). Fitted upstream of pumps, meters and control valves to catch debris that would otherwise damage them. The removable screen means the strainer can be serviced in place; the mesh should be chosen for the medium rather than by default. Screwed BSP ends keep installation simple at small bores and allow a valve to be changed with two wrenches. Fitted ahead of pumps, water meters, control valves and steam traps as a matter of routine practice. Every size in the range is listed above with its catalogue number and price.
