Veeson’s cast Iron T-Type Strainer, Flange Ends is supplied in 40 mm to 200 mm. Strainers protect what sits downstream. A mesh screen catches scale, weld spatter and pipe debris before it reaches a pump impeller, a meter register or a control valve seat, and the screen lifts out for cleaning without breaking the line. The IS 210 cast iron body is the economical choice at larger bores. It suits steady water service but not lines that see mechanical shock. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
