Covering 15 mm to 50 mm at Class 300, this is Leader’s globe Valve (Bolted Bonnet, O/S & Yoke Type, Rising Stem). Suited to duties where flow must be set and held. The trade-off for that control is a permanent pressure drop even when fully open. The rising stem shows the valve’s position at a glance, which is worth having on a valve that is operated rarely and needs to be verified shut — allow headroom above it. Forged A105 gives a dense, void-free body — why forged construction is specified for small-bore high-pressure duty. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
