Description
This globe Valve (Bolted Bonnet, O/S & Yoke Type, Rising Stem) from Leader covers 15 mm to 50 mm at Class 150. Chosen where the requirement is control rather than isolation, and where a modest pressure loss across the valve is acceptable. A rising stem gives visual confirmation of position without touching the handwheel, at the cost of clearance above the valve. Forged A105 gives a dense, void-free body — why forged construction is specified for small-bore high-pressure duty. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
