Covering 15 mm to 50 mm at Class 800, this is Leader’s globe Valve (Bolted Bonnet, O/S & Yoke Type, Rising Stem, Full Bore). Where flow is throttled rather than simply stopped, a globe pattern is correct. The disc takes the wear that throttling causes. A rising stem gives visual confirmation of position without touching the handwheel, at the cost of clearance above the valve. Forged A105 gives a dense, void-free body — why forged construction is specified for small-bore high-pressure duty.
