Description
This globe Valve (Bolted Bonnet, O/S & Yoke Type, Rising Stem) from Leader covers 40 mm to 600 mm at Class 150. Where flow is throttled rather than simply stopped, a globe pattern is correct. The disc takes the wear that throttling causes. A rising stem gives visual confirmation of position without touching the handwheel, at the cost of clearance above the valve. WCB carbon steel construction, rated for the steam and thermal-oil duties that rule out lighter body materials. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
