This globe Valve (Welded Bonnet, O/S & Yoke Type, Rising Stem, Full Bore, Stellited Seats) from Leader covers 15 mm to 25 mm at Class 2500. Suited to duties where flow must be set and held. The trade-off for that control is a permanent pressure drop even when fully open. The rising stem shows the valve’s position at a glance, which is worth having on a valve that is operated rarely and needs to be verified shut — allow headroom above it. Forged A105 gives a dense, void-free body — why forged construction is specified for small-bore high-pressure duty.
