Description

This motorised Butterfly Valve (CI Body, CF-8/SS-304 Disc, PN 16) from Castle covers 32 mm to 350 mm at PN 16. Compact and quick to operate. Face-to-face length is short, which matters where a valve has to fit an existing pipe run. Grey cast iron to IS 210 keeps the cost sensible in the larger sizes, provided the duty is steady rather than shock-loaded. A wafer body adds almost nothing to the length of the pipe run. Widely fitted on chilled water risers, cooling tower lines and large-bore service headers. Size and pricing for each option appear in the table above.
