Description
Covering 32 mm to 350 mm at PN 16, this is Castle’s motorised Butterfly Valve (CI Body, SG Iron Disc, PN 16). The disc stays in the flow path when open, which costs a little pressure drop but keeps the valve short, light and cheap to support. Grey cast iron to IS 210 keeps the cost sensible in the larger sizes, provided the duty is steady rather than shock-loaded. The wafer body clamps between two pipe flanges, keeping face-to-face length and weight to a minimum. Every size in the range is listed above with its price.
