Description
Zoloto’s bronze Fusible Plug (Two Piece Design) is supplied in 15 mm to 50 mm. A fusible plug is a deliberate weak point. If the water level in a boiler falls far enough to uncover the crown, the alloy core melts and releases steam into the furnace, warning the operator before the plate is damaged. An IS 318 LTB-2 body — the specification most Indian consultants write for potable and general water service. Lugged bodies bolt to each flange independently, so downstream pipework can be removed with the valve still holding the line.
