Zoloto bronze Horizontal Lift Check Valve (Screwed), available 15 mm to 50 mm. Check valves stop reverse flow without any external operation — line pressure alone opens and closes them. On a pump discharge they prevent backspin and the water hammer that follows an abrupt stop. The LTB-2 gunmetal body to IS 318 resists dezincification, which is why gunmetal remains the default for potable water rather than a cheaper brass. Parallel BSP threads — the usual small-bore connection, and quick to replace in service. Used on pump delivery lines and wherever two sources feed a shared main.
