Description

This SBM Bronze Vertical Lift Check Valve from Sant covers 15 mm to 100 mm. Fitted to prevent flow reversing when a pump stops or a line depressurises. Orientation matters: a swing pattern needs the correct attitude to seat properly, so confirm the intended mounting before ordering. An IS 318 LTB-2 body — the specification most Indian consultants write for potable and general water service. Screwed BSP ends keep installation simple at small bores and allow a valve to be changed with two wrenches. Normally fitted on pump discharges and at the point a branch joins a common header.
