Description
Covering 40 mm to 300 mm, this is Veeson’s cast Iron Butterfly Valve, Ductile Iron Disc, Lever Operated (PN-16). The disc stays in the flow path when open, which costs a little pressure drop but keeps the valve short, light and cheap to support. Lever operated, so the position is readable from across a plant room. Grey cast iron to IS 210 keeps the cost sensible in the larger sizes, provided the duty is steady rather than shock-loaded. Lugged bodies bolt to each flange independently, so downstream pipework can be removed with the valve still holding the line.
