Sant’s DI Pressure Reducing & Sustaining Valve is supplied in 80 mm to 200 mm at PN 16. Strainers protect what sits downstream. A mesh screen catches scale, weld spatter and pipe debris before it reaches a pump impeller, a meter register or a control valve seat, and the screen lifts out for cleaning without breaking the line. Ductile iron carries considerably more strength and impact resistance than grey cast iron for the same section — the reason it is specified for buried and higher-pressure mains.
