Sant’s bronze Y Type Strainer is supplied in 15 mm to 50 mm. Strainers protect what sits downstream. A mesh screen catches scale, weld spatter and pipe debris before it reaches a pump impeller, a meter register or a control valve seat, and the screen lifts out for cleaning without breaking the line. Certified to IBR, with the Form III-C documentation that a boiler inspector will expect to see. CF8 (SS 304) suits mildly corrosive and hygienic duties where iron contamination of the product cannot be accepted. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
