This forged Steel Piston Valve Screwed End from Sant covers 15 mm to 25 mm. Steam isolation using a piston working within replaceable seal rings. The arrangement tolerates the thermal cycling that erodes conventional seat faces, and maintenance means changing rings rather than lapping seats. NPT threads, where the installation follows American practice. Used on steam mains and branch isolation where seat erosion is the usual failure mode.
