Sant bronze Globe Valve, available 15 mm to 100 mm. Globe valves are built for regulation: flow turns across a disc seated parallel to the line, giving fine control at the cost of a higher pressure drop than a gate valve. The LTB-2 gunmetal body to IS 318 resists dezincification, which is why gunmetal remains the default for potable water rather than a cheaper brass. Flanged connections allow the valve to come out for overhaul with the pipework left in place.
