Description

Covering 25 mm to 300 mm, this is Sant’s cast Steel Horizontal Check Valve. Fitted to prevent flow reversing when a pump stops or a line depressurises. Orientation matters: a swing pattern needs the correct attitude to seat properly, so confirm the intended mounting before ordering. WCB carbon steel construction, rated for the steam and thermal-oil duties that rule out lighter body materials. Flanged connections allow the valve to come out for overhaul with the pipework left in place. Normally fitted on pump discharges and at the point a branch joins a common header.
