Covering 25 mm to 300 mm, this is Sant’s cast Steel Gate Valve. A shut-off valve, not a control valve — throttling duty belongs to a globe pattern. WCB carbon steel construction, rated for the steam and thermal-oil duties that rule out lighter body materials. Flanged connections allow the valve to come out for overhaul with the pipework left in place.
