Covering 40 mm to 200 mm, this is Sant’s cast Steel Globe Valve. Where flow is throttled rather than simply stopped, a globe pattern is correct. The disc takes the wear that throttling causes. WCB carbon steel construction, rated for the steam and thermal-oil duties that rule out lighter body materials. Flanged connections allow the valve to come out for overhaul with the pipework left in place.
