Covering 15 mm to 50 mm, this is Sant’s SBM Bronze Gland Valve. Suited to duties where flow must be set and held. The trade-off for that control is a permanent pressure drop even when fully open. The LTB-2 gunmetal body to IS 318 resists dezincification, which is why gunmetal remains the default for potable water rather than a cheaper brass. Parallel BSP threads — the usual small-bore connection, and quick to replace in service. Fitted where an operator needs to trim flow — boiler feed lines, heat exchanger bypasses and dosing points.
