L&T CS Gate Valve, Class 300, Flanged, 13Cr Steel + Hard-Faced Trim (IBR), available 50 mm to 600 mm at Class 300. The straight-through bore means an open gate valve behaves much like a length of pipe. IBR approved and supplied with the Form III-C certificate required for steam service under the Indian Boiler Regulations. A cast carbon steel body to ASTM A216 WCB handles the temperatures and pressures of steam and hot oil, where bronze or iron would not be rated. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
