Description
L&T’s FS Gate Valve, Class 800, Screwed/Socket Weld, 13Cr Steel + Hard-Faced Trim (IBR) is supplied in 15 mm to 50 mm at Class 800. Gate valves isolate rather than regulate: the wedge lifts clear of the bore, so an open valve costs almost no pressure drop. IBR approved and supplied with the Form III-C certificate required for steam service under the Indian Boiler Regulations. Forged A105 gives a dense, void-free body — why forged construction is specified for small-bore high-pressure duty.
