Leader’s gate Valve (Pressure Seal Bonnet, O/S & Yoke Type, Rising Stem) is supplied in 50 mm to 300 mm at Class 1500. Gate valves isolate rather than regulate: the wedge lifts clear of the bore, so an open valve costs almost no pressure drop. The rising stem shows the valve’s position at a glance, which is worth having on a valve that is operated rarely and needs to be verified shut — allow headroom above it. Butt-welded ends give a permanent joint with no potential leak path, used where the line is not intended to be broken.
