Description

This horizontal Lift Check Valve (Screwed in Cover, Class -2) from Leader covers 15 mm to 100 mm. Fitted to prevent flow reversing when a pump stops or a line depressurises. Orientation matters: a swing pattern needs the correct attitude to seat properly, so confirm the intended mounting before ordering. Gunmetal to IS 318 Grade LTB-2 holds up in continuous water service without the dezincification that shortens brass fittings. Parallel BSP threads — the usual small-bore connection, and quick to replace in service. Normally fitted on pump discharges and at the point a branch joins a common header.
