Description
Leader universal Check Valve (Forged Brass, PN 20), available 15 mm to 50 mm at PN 20. Check valves stop reverse flow without any external operation — line pressure alone opens and closes them. On a pump discharge they prevent backspin and the water hammer that follows an abrupt stop. Forged brass keeps cost and weight down at small bores, where a cast body’s strength is not required. Screwed BSP ends keep installation simple at small bores and allow a valve to be changed with two wrenches. The table above gives the catalogue reference and price for each size in the range.
