Description
Leader’s gate Valve (Bolted Bonnet, O/S & Yoke Type, Rising Stem) is supplied in 15 mm to 50 mm at Class 600. Gate valves isolate rather than regulate: the wedge lifts clear of the bore, so an open valve costs almost no pressure drop. A rising stem gives visual confirmation of position without touching the handwheel, at the cost of clearance above the valve. Forged A105 gives a dense, void-free body — why forged construction is specified for small-bore high-pressure duty. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
