Description
Covering 40 mm to 300 mm at PN 25, this is Leader’s butterfly Valve (Wafer Type, Without Lugs). The disc stays in the flow path when open, which costs a little pressure drop but keeps the valve short, light and cheap to support. Grey cast iron to IS 210 keeps the cost sensible in the larger sizes, provided the duty is steady rather than shock-loaded. A wafer body adds almost nothing to the length of the pipe run. Standard on HVAC and cooling water distribution, where bore is large and space between flanges is limited. Every size in the range is listed above with its catalogue number and price.
