Description
Leader globe Valve (Pressure Seal Bonnet, O/S & Yoke Type, Rising Stem), available 50 mm to 200 mm at Class 2500. The seat sits parallel to the line, so the valve can be held part-open indefinitely without damaging it — the difference that separates a globe valve from a gate valve. A rising stem gives visual confirmation of position without touching the handwheel, at the cost of clearance above the valve. A cast carbon steel body to ASTM A216 WCB handles the temperatures and pressures of steam and hot oil, where bronze or iron would not be rated. Butt-welded ends give a permanent joint with no potential leak path, used where the line is not intended to be broken.
