Description

This gate Valve (Bolted Bonnet, O/S & Yoke Type, Rising Stem) from Leader covers 40 mm to 600 mm at Class 600. Intended for full-open or full-shut duty. Holding a wedge part-open to throttle will chatter and wear the seat faces. The rising stem shows the valve’s position at a glance, which is worth having on a valve that is operated rarely and needs to be verified shut — allow headroom above it. WCB carbon steel construction, rated for the steam and thermal-oil duties that rule out lighter body materials. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
